Thank you for making the SCRIP program at OLG so successful! SCRIP fever is
catching on and more and more families are realizing how easy it is and how
it makes sense to get money back for money you are spending anyway! Keep

Q: What is SCRIP anyway?

A: SCRIP is an easy way to help reduce tuition costs by using pre-purchased
cards for the retail stores, restaurants and businesses that you frequent.
When you purchase SCRIP you get a % of the purchase designated to a personal
account. Your money serves you TWICE! Simply use the cards when you shop,
eat or fuel up your car!

Q: How do I purchase SCRIP?

A: You have lots of options:
1- Send an order form and check into school or PREP with your child.
(Orders will be filled on Mondays and Fridays and sent home with the child
you
designate.)
2- Purchase at church after the 5:15 Saturday mass and after the 10:00
Sunday mass.
3- Purchase at the Rectory, Monday through Friday, from 9:30-4:30.

Q: Who can purchase SCRIP?

A: ANYONE. Grandparents and other family members can purchase SCRIP and
designate their % to any child’s account. Relatives, friends and neighbors,
even if they have NO CHILDREN in school, can still purchase SCRIP to assist a
family of their choice or contribute their % to a general Tuition Assistance
Account.

Q: How do I “cash in” my accumulated percentage?

A: Your account information will be kept in a computer file. There are NO
MONEY VOUCHER slips to worry about losing. OLGSchool families will be issued
a TUITION CREDIT VOUCHER to submit with your tuition envelope in January and
July. Students in other Catholic schools will be issued a check to their
respective school in July and again in January.

Q: Is SCRIP only good for OLG’s tuition?

A: No. SCRIP checks can be written for ANY Catholic School of your
choosing, as well as the PREP Program.

Q: What if I don’t want my SCRIP purchase sent home with my child?

A: You may indicate on the order form that you wish to pick up your SCRIP
from the school office yourself. Or, again, it is available after select
masses and from the Rectory.
